Description Our client is a supplier of Labelling solutions with an impressive portfolio of products and they are looking to appoint an external Field Sales Representative to support their expansion plans.

The Role
Covering the UK, you will responsible for generating new business opportunities; selling a full suite of Labelling solutions into relevant market sectors. You will be fully supported internally for you to be successful in your position. This role holds a career development opportunity for the right candidate as our client’s focus is to build a successful External Sales team throughout the UK, therefor a desire to develop your career into Sales Management is desirable.
Key Responsibilities

• Implement an agreed sales strategy, by developing profitable sales within strategically targeted new customers.
• Target and win profitable new business, in line with the agreed sales strategy
• Submit sales reporting, weekly activity and result reports such as appointments, call rates and pipeline business.
• Maintain direct contact with your customer base to maximise sales growth whilst offering excellent customer service
• Actively target all industries to promote our clients’ services and products.
• Adhere to all company procedures in respect of customer contracts and agreements pertaining to stock, price, origination and any other identified commercial aspects.
• Provide market analysis (including competitor activity and market trends) as required to support strategic business development.
• Acquire and maintain a thorough knowledge of the geographic sales territory, the key users, and their relevant market sectors to identify and exploit profitable new business opportunities.
• Project manage the introduction of new customers into the business ensuring their effective handover to the internal customer service teams.
• Provide accurate short, medium and long-term forecasts as necessary to support business planning activities.

The Candidate
It is essential you have field sales experience working for a Label Supplier/Distributor or Label manufacturing business and have knowledge of the self-adhesive and packaging sectors. You must have a good track record in new business development. With a focus on developing your career into Sales Management you are pro-active, personable, can manage your own time effectively to achieve sales objectives and build relationships quickly with people at all levels.
